The nose presents predominantly maple, piney spice, and black tea, with undertones of eucalyptus, powdered sugar, fennel, and oak. The palate features more black tea alongside eucalyptus, honey, rye spice, oak, and white pepper. The finish echoes black tea and honey, with hints of grass and rye spice. Highly enjoyable!

Selected by a group, described as a rare find. From barrel 1792, aged 39 months, at 100 proof. Considerably better than my other barrel selection. The palate is full of baking spices and rye bread, with a pleasant cinnamon finish. Unexpected notes of crisp apple and cherry are present. A medium finish that is packed with flavor.
I truly hope this distillery remains undiscovered. The rye offers a great initial taste of baking spices and honey. It concludes wonderfully with a prolonged spicy note. A superb, complex young rye that is excellent value for the price.
Vanilla on the nose and very oaky on the palate. A smooth rye flavor.
Notes of earth, tobacco, prune, and grape. A darker, bitter old fashioned profile.
Pleasant sweetness, baking spice, pepper, and cinnamon. Good stuff.
