I did not particularly enjoy this. It tasted immature. It improves somewhat with ice. It pairs well with ginger ale, but it's a bit expensive for a whiskey intended for mixing.
Nose: sweet, caramel Neat: It's light on the palate, tasting of baked goods, with a quick finish and a slight herbal note.
The first whiskey I ever experienced. A classic. It tastes like Birmingham.
