(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow Virtual Whisky Tasting 25 June 2020) Amusingly, the distillery's name was incorrectly spelled on the bottle and packaging! (Glen Garrioch instead of Glen Garioch - mistake!) The aroma is like sugared breakfast cereal. The initial taste is quite young, with notes of apricot and black pepper. The finish is medium, with hints of chocolate cocoa beans. Interestingly, this whisky is produced in Speyside, then moved to Glasgow where it's aged in reused bourbon hogsheads, so it has traveled quite a bit before being bottled. Finished tied for fourth place out of the six whiskies, receiving 5% of the total votes.
