About this bottle

This additive-free tequila añejo is a limited edition commemorating 20 years of Don Fulano, produced in 2023 from 100% blue Weber agave. The agave was cultivated in Los Altos and harvested from three Jalisco ranches: La Tuna (Arandas, planted 2014), Milpillas Cerro (Atontonilco, planted 2014), and El Maguey (Atontonilco, planted 2008). Each harvest was distilled separately in copper pot stills and aged as follows: La Tuna agave, distilled October 2021, aged 1 year, 6 months in first-fill ex-Amontillado sherry butts. Milpillas Cerro agave, distilled July 2021, aged 1 year, 9 months in first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry butts. El Maguey agave, distilled April 2014, aged exactly 8 years in French oak ex-Burgundy casks. These components were blended in April 2023 and returned to first-fill Amontillado and Oloroso sherry butts. Bottled in July 2023 at 44.4% ABV, 9,000 bottles were produced globally, with 3,000 allocated to the US. The suggested retail price is $199.99.

Very rich and delicate with berries and Christmas-like flavors complementing the earthy cooked agave, mineral, and peppery tasting notes.
