About this bottle

The "Triple Zero" designation on Domaine d'Aurensan Armagnac 20 Ans signifies no water addition (reduction), no added sugar, and no colorants. This is not a typical commercial blend. The Armagnac is a marriage of four casks from different vintages (1973, 1978, 1981, and 1990), selected for their distinct qualities. As these barrels were not topped up, the blend contains Armagnac significantly older than the implied 20 years. The oak used for the barrels comes from local Gascony forests, reflecting the terroir.

Tim Gunter 5.0

A vast, yawning expanse of Brandy. Packed with dark elements like brown sugar, deeply roasted nuts, hazelnut praline, and coffee, alongside various sugars. To say rancio is prominent would be an understatement. This is the ideal beverage for those who favor smoking jackets and fireplaces.

Ingrid Gay 4.0

A nuanced combination of aged spirits, including eau-de-vie from 1975, 1981, 1990, and 1995, presenting flavors of rich raisin, honey, and dark cocoa for a mellow and exceptionally smooth conclusion. August 2017 / June 2018
