This vintage Brandy from Domaine de Boingnères in Armagnac, France, distilled in 1972 from Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc & Colombard and aged in oak until its 2012 bottling at 47% ABV, has an initial aroma of tree and stewed fruits, wood, flowers, herbs, and spices. Its rich and fruity character progresses to a long and complex finish of toasted oak spice and dried fruits. (August 2017 / April 2018)
