I was at a friend's house for dinner yesterday, and this was opened as a post-meal treat. I haven't had many Armagnacs, maybe only 2 or 3, so my knowledge of them is limited, except that it's from a specific region in France, distilled once, made from grapes, and can be quite old but costs a fraction of the price of whisky of similar age. I believe a review below captured it perfectly. It's like shortbread cookies dipped in raspberry jelly. Definitely not for peat lovers, but if you enjoy something on the sweeter side, this is for you.
