Dogfish Head Sonic Archaeology

I had such high hopes for this. The previous reviews were glowing, but I was mistaken. Perhaps I'm not enjoying this correctly? It's suggested to serve over ice. Maybe if someone made a mixed drink with this. A splash of fresh lime and a dash of ginger soda would probably work. Served on the rocks, it's quite tart and bitter. I'll try this again by making something with it, but it's not a drink for me neat.

This drink is very sour. Served on ice, it does open up slightly and a subtle sweetness is revealed.

If you're seeking a good whiskey, this isn't it. It's a decent schnapps, but I taste no whiskey at all.
