In essence, this is Ben & Jerry’s Chubby Hubby ice cream transformed into bourbon. The aroma is heavily saturated with notes of roasted peanut and peanut butter, accompanied by hints of salted caramel, circus peanuts, milk chocolate, and a subtle yeasty undertone. The palate continues with the peanut flavors, but emphasizes the chocolate and caramel notes while introducing a sensation akin to a slightly scorched, yogurt-covered pretzel. The finish is brief and dominated by an intense vanilla extract flavor along with lightly charred sugars. Overall, it's quite enjoyable and a good value, but not groundbreaking. This bottling originates from Tennessee (reminiscent of good Dickel, without the funk and minerality), aged 12 years, and bottled at cask strength, which for this particular bottle is 51.3% ABV.

This is a straightforward but fairly enjoyable whiskey. It's not exceptional, but it's not bad either. The aroma is mostly ripe banana and peanut butter. The mouthfeel is a bit oily, with tastes of peanuts, banana, and vanilla extract. The finish also has strong vanilla notes. It's not overly complex, but it's not terrible.

Allowed to rest in a glencairn for 15 minutes. Intense toffee aromas with undertones of dried fruit. Primarily butterscotch flavor with hints of raisin. A long, tannic finish.
