Store selection from a specific group @ 112.5 proof. Glass: Glencairn, allowed to rest for 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Aroma: Cinnamon toast crunch with underlying caramel notes. Palate: Cinnamon, with some oaky bitterness. Finish: Long duration with moderate warmth. Addition: A few drops of water reveal milder notes like clove and baking spice. Overall: Rated 9/10 - This is among the superior amburana finished bourbons encountered. It would certainly stand out in a mixed drink.

Average notes, but this one has an overwhelming cinnamon/baking spice note near the finish. Little dashes of vanilla and maple right before a medium to long finish that's mildly hot. Not sure how I feel about amburana casks.
