About this bottle
Dobson's Distillery introduces the Empire 8 cask strength whisky, a new and exciting offering. This whisky undergoes triple distillation in an Irish style, followed by a four-month period in stainless steel with oak slabs. It is then matured for two years in a shiraz cask, two years in a madeira cask, and two years in a chardonnay cask. The spirit is made with Baird's malt, and the name '8' is reportedly derived from its status as a fortunate number in Chinese culture.
