The aroma is gentle. Lots of caramel with a light clove-like spice and subtle wood notes. The palate also starts gently, with dried fruit flavors developing into a clove and cinnamon spice. It coats the mouth and leaves a lingering warmth that fades into a subtle caramel sweetness. It's complex, with the cask strength only truly revealing itself at the very end.
