Dillon's The White Rye is produced by Dillon's Small Batch Distillery in Ontario, Canada. The distillery, led by Peter and Geoff Dillon with Geoff's father-in-law Gary also involved, aims to enhance the global standing of Canadian spirits. This rye is an unaged, 'purist's' rye made from 100% Canadian-grown rye, with 10% malted and 90% unmalted grains. It is distilled in a copper pot still and bottled directly without barrel aging.

Not a typical Rye flavor profile. It seems to be either lacking something or has an additive that alters the taste unfavorably. I've encountered worse, but I won't be purchasing it again.
Pleasantly surprising, given that the most engaging elements emerge during barrel maturation. A smooth-drinking Rye that imparts a quite agreeable sensation on the tongue.
Extremely, extremely unique. Unlike anything I've experienced before. It makes a good choice for mixed drinks, though.
