My barrel selection, purchased from a specific retailer, was bottled at 128 proof. Barrel 74. It conceals its alcohol content remarkably well, presenting a wonderful profile. This Texas bourbon is a hidden gem. It deviates from the typical Texas bourbon character. Notes of caramelized brown sugar and slight butterscotch lead to a very clean, spicy cinnamon finish. If you haven't sampled it, seek it out and purchase it immediately.

Nose: caramel, sugary. Palate: sweet corn, chicory, vanilla, drinks weaker than its proof, with woodsy notes and some bubble gum in the aftertaste. Quite good.
From 2020. Smells like brown-buttered apple, but not savory. Mild heat. Sharp with a lingering burn. Finishes with young vanilla oak.
Mature fruit, astringency, brief spiciness.
Outstanding bourbon.
