The nose has caramel and some sweetness. The first sip is spicy with black pepper and fruity notes. The finish is smooth. Adding an ice cube reduces the spice and emphasizes the char. I appreciate this finish.
I tried the 94 proof small batch. It was very smooth, though perhaps a little too sweet.
