It's definitely a medium toast, but I enjoy it. Some brown sugar with a subtle Kentucky warmth remaining. A bit more oaky than I recall. That brown sugar adds some sweetness. Very well-balanced, and I'll be disappointed when this bottle is finished since I can't obtain it again.

I procrastinated finishing this bottle for as long as possible, but it's done. I'm disappointed. This was an outstanding bottle with ideal brown sugar sweetness and a great proof. Easily one of my top five bourbons ever. Rest in peace.
This was a pleasant surprise. I did not have high expectations, but for the cost, it's quite good. It has a lot of oak flavor. I detect oak, honey, and oats.
A potent rye kick. Adding an ice cube softens it, revealing notes of brown sugar and caramel.
