About this bottle

The Weymss family, known for scotch whisky, introduced this gin in 2012, following their first gin release two years earlier. The name references an event in 1565 when Mary, Queen of Scots, saw her future husband, Lord Darnley, from a window at Weymss Castle. This gin is produced from a quadruple-distilled neutral grain spirit that is infused with ten botanicals—juniper, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cumin, coriander seed, cassia, grains of paradise, cloves, and angelica root—then distilled again. It is bottled at 42.7% ABV.
