I appreciated this Rye. It had a slight harsh heat, and could benefit from a little more time aging in a barrel, but overall, I would purchase it again. It's a bit expensive for a daily sipper, at nearly $50, but I acquired it at the distillery's tasting room, not from a retail store.

About this bottle
Dancing Pines Awry Rye is handcrafted and bottled in Loveland, Colorado. It is produced in small batches using locally sourced, organic 100% rye and distilled in an artisan copper still. Awry is aged in Dancing Pines's previously used bourbon barrels, making it technically a whiskey produced from a rye mash rather than a pure rye whiskey.
