About this bottle
The Dalmore 40 Year, a Highland single malt, became available in September 2017. Its aging process involved multiple cask types: initial maturation in American oak, ex-bourbon barrels, followed by approximately 30 years in former Gonzalez-Byass Matusalem Oloroso sherry butts. The final maturation phase occurred in American oak, first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. This collector's edition is presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter featuring the Hamilton & Inches 12-point stag emblem. Production was capped at 750 bottles globally, with 58 allocated to the US market.
