Cubist is intended for storage in a freezer. When the temperature reaches or drops below zero degrees Celsius, as determined by Phillips Distilling Co. to be optimal, thermochromic technology causes the bottle to turn blue, indicating readiness for consumption. It has been available since July 2021 and is bottled at 40% ABV.

A clean, clear spirit with very little smell, just a hint of citrus on the nose. The body is crisp and clean with a mildly increasing corn spice. It has an almost velvety smooth texture and sweetness, a velvety mouthfeel, hints of citrus, and a smooth, creamy, velvety finish.
