Cù Dhub, which translates to "black dog" and is pronounced "kaddoo," is a distillery bottling from the aptly named Speyside Distillery located in southern Speyside. To achieve its distinct appearance, the whisky is colored with caramel, forming the unique characteristic of this product. Its name is derived from a local legend about the Witch of Laggan, who sought refuge in the Forest of Gaick from pursuing black dogs. The forest, the location of her sanctuary, is also where the distillery is situated. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

The caramel flavor is quite apparent. The establishment had to retrieve this bottle from storage since no one else had ordered it… which aligns with the platform only having 2 prior reviews. It's not worth buying again.
