Craigellachie 17 year old exceptional cask series

I appreciate a bold, spicy character. This dram, sampled neat, offered a very pronounced and intense flavor. Abundant spice, with what I perceived as a whisper of cinnamon. The aftertaste was considerably lighter and didn't persist for an excessive duration. It was quite pleasing. While I frequently enjoy my spirits on the rocks, I suspect doing so with this would diminish the enjoyment derived from this particular bottle.
