This expression presents a very subtle and delicate flavor profile. It lacks any strong bitterness. There's a notable minerality and abundant floral notes, reminiscent of sea spray. Hints of toffee and apricot blossom are present, along with a nutty, possibly chestnut-like element. The balance is excellent, and the flavors are quite pleasing for what they are. However, the specific flavor choices are not to my personal taste. It's a competent and definitely sippable spirit, but I would only consider purchasing it if it were inexpensive. It bears a strong resemblance to Bushmill's 21, though it's a bit more robust and lacks that superb finish, even though its own finish is solid. Curiously, it's also milder. It's an intriguing experience that I'd be happy to sip, but other options would be preferred. I commend its clean flavor, but this reflects technical proficiency more than personal preference. While the delicate flavor has many facets, it doesn't possess deep complexity. Nevertheless, it suits this spirit. A slight unpleasant bread note nearly detracts a point, but the mildness of the flavor allows the spirit to maintain its quality.
