About this bottle

Corazon Añejo is aged for a full two years in American oak barrels. It is produced, distilled, and bottled at a family-owned agave estate in Jalisco, aiming to provide a distinctive "homemade" character. Oxygen is introduced to the distillate after its second distillation to achieve a lighter yet fuller body.

Evelynn Hilton 3.5

A full-bodied agave spirit from Nom 1103, located in the Highlands - Los Altos, Mexico. It begins aromatically with hints of roasted agave, wood, and spice. Its rich development introduces notes of oak, vanilla, and agave syrup, culminating in a sweet and creamy finish of medium duration with flavors of butterscotch and toffee. July 2023

Reggie Cooper 3.8

Nose: Salty, acidic, menthol, freshly cut grass, herbal. Taste: Sweet, like Calpol cough syrup, nutty, musty, salty, mineral-rich, with notes of cedar, lime zest, and floral undertones. Mouthfeel: Light and brief.

Jayce Lovett 1.0

Dry, dusty, herbal, with a slightly oily and somewhat bitter quality that conceals oak and dark caramelized agave. My expectations were higher for Sazerac & Co. $57 in Ontario.

Peyton Toney 3.5

Decent on the rocks for a $30 spirit. A hint of pepper on the finish, slightly behind the Kirkland in terms of drinkability and taste profile.

Edmond Avery 2.0

My initial experience with an anejo, and my first taste since a regrettable Jose encounter. I found it extremely harsh, nearly undrinkable.

Kris Siegel 4.0

Uncertain if this was the exact one, but it offered a pleasant fusion of tequila and bourbon characteristics.
