Copperworks Distilling Co. reopened on May 20, 2021. They start with excellent brewing. Their past efforts involved creating rich, flavorful craft beers, after which they wondered what else they could do with barley. Whiskey, of course! The initial step to making outstanding whiskey is exceptional brewing. They are now exploring new possibilities with batch-style releases of American Single Malt Whiskey, beginning with rainwater! Their whiskeys are twice distilled in hand-hammered Scottish stills designed specifically for whiskey. Each release is distinct; each a new discovery. Made from 100% malted barley. I bought Release No’s 34 & 35 myself. I've only tasted the 34 and am now searching for earlier releases! Well done!

Caramel notes at the beginning, coffee at the end. Like a sophisticated caramel espresso.
