The aroma presents a light dark sweetness, reminiscent of caramel or brown sugar, along with vanilla and clove. On the palate, you are immediately greeted by mild vanilla, cinnamon, and caramel notes in a medium-bodied whiskey. The finish is light, with hints of leather and oak.
The nose is gentle with hints of caramel, vanilla, and citrus. It's smooth and easy to drink. Initially, a touch of smoke, then warmth and a bit of leather. It finishes sweet with vanilla and orange.
The rye variation makes an excellent old fashioned.
