About this bottle

The Cr&ftwerk series by Copper & Kings features brandy aged for 12 months in barrels that previously held beer from four different craft breweries. This initiative aims to draw inspiration and distinct flavor profiles from prominent American craft brewers for the American craft distiller. This particular expression was aged in casks that contained 3 Floyds' Dark Lord, a Russian Imperial Stout.

Jenny Gavin 4.0

As someone who used to drink a lot of craft beer, I really liked this brandy that was aged in former Dark Lord barrels. You can definitely taste the chocolate and coffee notes in the brandy, and it helped to reduce the harshness from the alcohol. Quite nice and an interesting experiment by C&K.

Janette Mott 4.0

An interesting expression from Copper and Kings, this one tastes as described; the 110 proof certainly delivers a bit of burn on the finish. An intriguing brandy for your collection if you can locate it.
