Excellent Whiskey. Tastes more like an American Light Whiskey than Canadian (Thank God)... It's hazmat, so drinking it neat requires some patience. It's difficult for me to discern anything beyond corn and perhaps citrus on the nose due to the overwhelming ethanol. The palate hit me like Penelope ALW 15... Sweet with just a hint of citrus, vanilla, and toffee. For 145.2 proof, it's a remarkably smooth drink.

Syrupy notes of light brown sugar, dark caramel, dark chocolate, mild oak, orange peel, and cereal. The finish includes pepper, tart orange peel, toffee, oak, and mild char; it's long and leaves a deep warmth.
