Cooper's Chase Bourbon

I'd heard positive remarks about this spirit and managed to purchase a bottle while traveling through NE en route to Denver. The cost was low, matching my expectations, but I was impressed. It's a lower proof (80) which results in a less pronounced barrel note on the finish. The aroma and taste feature fresh floral notes with a touch of cinnamon and caramel. A very enjoyable, smooth sipper. I regret not buying more bottles, as it's unavailable in my state.

This is not a good beverage. I'll reserve it for cooking purposes rather than drinking.
