Connemara Turf Mór

The initial aroma presents peat, vanilla, cinnamon, and oak. It has a creamy texture, reminiscent of a spicy creme brulee, and is quite inviting, building anticipation for a taste. The taste is rich, with peat, pepper, cinnamon, and oak delivering a flavor explosion. Vanilla sweetness follows, mellowing the spice as the mouth fills with taste. It develops a slight chewiness and becomes almost savory. The finish is moderately long, spicy, and chewy, leaving a tingly sensation. It's incredibly delicious in a straightforward manner.

This Irish whiskey carries a scent of campfire and wood, evoking the Irish countryside of days gone by. The mouthfeel is rich as you swallow what tastes like pure liquid peat smoke.

Very disappointing. I'm uncertain if I received a faulty batch, but the aftertaste is quite unpleasant. I will not purchase it again.

Delivered a strong peat impact (comparable to Lagavulin and on par with Dunville) with a persistent finish. Also had a fruity palate. Remarkable.

Smooth Irish whiskey initially, followed by a pleasant touch of clean smoke in the finish. Very good.

I found this spirit to be oily and smoky. I sampled it at Cask and Ale.
