About this bottle
Buffalo Trace Distillery commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Bottled in Bond Act, which passed on March 3, 1897, with this single barrel release honoring E. H. Taylor, Jr. Country musician Chris Stapleton selected this particular E. H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel, which was produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery. It was put into barrels on June 3, 2009, and bottled in mid-February, making it more than 12 years old. Adhering to Bottled in Bond standards, it is 100 proof. This bottling is for charity, with all proceeds directed to Stapleton's Outlaw State of Kind, supporting various causes. It became available in March 2022.

After about a minute, it really opens up nicely; it's a bit spicy and very smooth.
