About this bottle
Distilled at Coleburn Distillery in 1981, this Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection bottling comes from a Speyside distillery founded in 1897 that ceased operations in 1985. The single malt has spent 38 years maturing in a refill sherry hogshead within the independent bottler's warehouse in Elgin. Bottled in March 2019 from cask #476, it produced only 101 bottles and was released at 55.9% ABV in the spring of 2019.
