Edison Danielson 4.3

This Grande Champagne Cru cognac, crafted from folle blanche grapes instead of the typical ugni blanc, was discovered at a quaint Parisian shop that could be described as "Dickensian." The age isn't certain, but the Dudognon site lists it among their younger options. Nose: Initially, a fresh fruit bouquet dominates, followed by vanilla. After a few minutes, floral notes, like tulips, emerge. Palate: Vanilla stands out, accompanied by floral hints and a touch of spice at the rear of the tongue. Fruitiness persists throughout, guiding the palate. Finish: The finish is brief but pleasant, featuring notes of vanilla, nuts, and a hint of oak. This is certainly an unconventional cognac, possessing less sweetness and more floral character than the major houses' offerings. Its 42% ABV, higher than the usual 40%, enhances each sip. Highly recommended for those seeking a cognac experience unlike any other. À Votre Santé!
