Part of the Special Reserve lineup, Clyde May's 5 Year Special Reserve Straight Bourbon is derived from specially selected aged stocks. This bourbon was aged for 5 years in new American oak and is presented non-chill filtered at 110 proof. It became available in late summer 2021.

The nose has toasted oak and cinnamon/spice. It's not bad, but the pleasant oak/spice/brown sugar notes are marred by a very hot finish. Excessively hot.
