Clés Des Ducs VSOP Vieil Armagnac is a refined Brandy from Clés des Ducs in Armagnac, France. Its initial aroma presents notes of ripe plum, sugared almond, and vanilla. A rich, fruity character follows with hints of dark chocolate, winter spice, apricot, apple, and pear, concluding with a moderately long, slightly earthy finish. August 2017
Pleasant initial flavor, but definitely a drink to sip slowly. Intense warmth, and a prolonged finish, particularly in the nose. Not my preferred choice.
Fresh, but not overly young or sharp. It's fruity and well-balanced, without excessive complexity. An easily drinkable and well-crafted brandy.
Same style and price bracket, best rated first.
