Kenton Hinson 3.0

Smell: Warm spices, apples. Taste: Apple pie, vanilla, caramel. Aftertaste: Brief yet lasting, primarily warm spices. A family narrative: a whiskey from Indiana with a 75/21/4 rye mashbill. MGP sourced spirit aged six years. Circle City is identified as an Independent Bottler, making this Bottled-In-Bond more intriguing given the actions required to transfer barrels and maintain that designation from Ross & Squibb. Generally, this is exactly what one expects from MGP bourbon: a solid and adaptable drink, but not remarkable.
