About this bottle
Chivas Regal The Icon 50th Anniversary is an extremely limited edition whisky commemorating Manchester United's 1968 European Cup victory over Benfica. Just four bottles of this 50-year-old blended scotch were produced, each symbolizing a goal scored by the club in their extra-time win. One bottle will be awarded to a supporter chosen through the club's social media channels for their long-term loyalty. Another bottle will be auctioned, and a third will be displayed at the Manchester United Museum until the end of the 2019 season before being sold. Proceeds from these two bottles will benefit the Manchester United Foundation. The fourth bottle is destined for display at Strathisla Distillery, the home of Chivas Regal.
