Second batch. On the nose, it's light and well-rounded, perhaps with a hint of corn. The palate brings dark caramel, leather, and oak. The finish can turn a little tart, but it's a nice, smooth drink. I appreciate the concept of a seven-barrel blend for $70; who else is doing that? Is it the best I've ever had? No, and one bottle of this release is sufficient. Will I purchase the third and subsequent releases? Yes, I will.

White amber color. Spicy aroma with butterscotch initially, followed by heat and pepper notes on the finish.
Nice caramel up front but a weak finish. It definitely does not drink like 100 proof. I thought it was an 80.
