The aroma is quite light and pleasant, though I wish it were stronger. I detect some malt on the nose, which isn't my preferred scent. The taste is very good; it doesn't come across as high malt as other Chattanooga versions I've sampled. To me, this tastes much more like a conventional bourbon, offering a bright and fresh character. The finish is moderately long, with fleeting notes of caramel and stone fruit emerging.

Sweet and intense! The Char 3 is very sweet, but the proof's heat is noticeable. It has a strong malt presence. I truly liked it; it's quite unique.
A very distinctive bourbon that I would certainly suggest.
