The ten-year spirit at 112 proof was quite impressive. It's the final bourbon from the MGP distillery. My rating scale: 1 - I would not keep this drink. 2 - Suitable for mixing, but not ideal on its own. 3 - Pleasant, but I'm open to exploring other options. 4 - Excellent; I would purchase this if available. 5 - Exceptional; a truly collectible spirit.
Store Pick - Upon my first taste, this instantly became my #1 favorite pour. Plan on stocking up on this one.
The aroma hints at heat, raisins, and sweetness. The taste is warm, not burning. More sweetness appears on the finish, along with some spice.
