About this bottle

Castle & Key Restoration Release Vodka utilizes one of three distinct mash bills, noted on each container, which will serve as the foundation for the company's forthcoming bourbon and rye whiskeys. One bill features 73% white corn, 10% rye, and 17% malted barley. A second comprises 73% white corn, 10% wheat, and 17% malted barley. The third consists of 17% yellow corn, 63% rye, and 20% malted barley. This limited bottling is offered at 80 proof and can be found at the distillery along with select retailers in Kentucky and Tennessee.

Colby Randall 4.0

This is the bottling featuring 73% corn and 10% rye. Nose: candy corn. Palate: Candy corn. Astonishing. It's like distilled candy corn. As a dedicated bourbon, rye, and scotch enthusiast, this strongly resembles unaged whiskey (white dog), which, I suppose, it essentially is. I'm uncertain of the experience for most vodka drinkers, but I find this quite intriguing.

Hal Elmore 5.0

Excellent spice due to the high rye content, which isn't found in many other gins. I don't consider myself a gin expert, but this might be my favorite gin to date.

Luis Calvillo 4.0

Describing this as a vodka for bourbon enthusiasts is quite fitting.
