The 2010 edition was quite intriguing. It presented grassy, vegetal, earthy, spicy, and sweet characteristics with hints of caramel, chocolate, pineapples, and raisins.

About this bottle
Driven by a passion for new challenges and refining his expertise, distiller Gianni Vittorio Capovilla partnered with Luca Gargano of Velier importing company and the Bielle Distillery on Marie Galante. Together, they produced Capovilla Liberation Rhum. Utilizing a scarce, heritage sugarcane varietal and employing strict distillation methods, Capovilla crafted a highly acclaimed Rhum. Post-distillation, this rhum was matured in various previously used French wine casks from esteemed estates such as Château d’Yquem.
