Smells like nail polish remover. Light and grassy with a minor burn. It's certainly on the sweeter, fruitier end. Interesting to taste, but not worth the 35 dollars.

About this bottle
Caperdonich operated as a single malt Scotch whisky producer from 1898 to 1902 and again from 1965 until 2002, when it was closed a year after Pernod Ricard's acquisition. The distillery was demolished in autumn 2010. The Signatory Vintage 1994 originates from remaining barrels of the original Caperdonich distillery, with this 16-year-old whisky distilled on September 4th, 1994, and bottled on May 7th, 2011.
