About this bottle
Diageo announced the inaugural set of vintage single malt whiskies in its limited edition Prima & Ultima series in July 2020, showcasing Caol Ila and seven additional distilleries. Dr. Jim Beveridge selected these expressions, which were bottled at their natural cask strength. This 1984 vintage whisky underwent 35 years of maturation in a single refill European oak butt (#5773) and is bottled at 50.8% ABV.
