I found this bourbon during a motorcycle journey through Bend. We happened upon Oregon Spirit Distillers, took a tour, and sampled it. C.W. Irwin is exceptionally smooth and flavorful. It's become my preferred bourbon, though it's difficult to locate here in Washington. It would have received five stars if it were more easily accessible in Washington.

About this bottle
C.W. Irwin Straight Bourbon, produced in Bend, Oregon, is named after the brother of Oregon Spirit Distillers' owner, Brad Irwin. The mash bill features locally sourced corn, wheat, rye, and malted barley. The whiskey is aged for three years in barrels made by The Barrel Mill, a company that harvests trees sustainably, planting three new trees for every one cut down.
