Huge disappointment for a 12 yo. Very astringent aroma and palette. Don’t be fooled by fact it’s a 12yo. Pass this by. Easily the worst (and youngest) tasting 10+ yo I’ve tried. Threw first glass away to try something else. Not worth price.
Received this as a gift almost a year ago. Ranks among my most treasured bottles. Exceptionally smooth.
The smell is grassy. The palate is earthy with a grassy finish. It starts weakly.
Not overly intricate but a dependable spirit for sipping!
Aged 12 years, with notes of cherries and fruit.
Smooth and nutty.
