Alright everyone!!! It appears I'm the first to review this one. NOSE: Salty, waxy, subtle seaweed, apples, cookies and cream, butterscotch. I'd compare it to the Bunna 12 with a dusty, salty combination. Mouthfeel: The texture is vastly superior to the 25, incredible!!! Oak, ginger, dried strawberries, with some sherry in the background. FINISH: Extremely long. I wouldn't have predicted this, but it's drying out fast. The spices are intensifying rapidly and lingering. -A fantastic release, but price-wise, the 25 is superior. This one has more of the typical Bunna spice punch.

Remarkable 30 year old Bunna! Quite an experience! The extended time in the cask brought out a sulfurous note that, for some reason, made me think of a volcano. The nose was rather muted, but the texture was incredibly oily and coated the mouth! Taste-wise, I prefer the other Bunna expressions, especially the 18 year old. However, this was undeniably a singular and memorable occasion.
Aroma: Floral, peach, pepper, leather, a hint of smoke. Taste: Smooth, apricot, honey, spice; tastes like fruitcake. Finish: Long and smooth; honey and figs; a hint of smoke and leather. Adding water enhances the apricot and sweetness.
Nose: Sweet vanilla, spice. Body: Sweet, with light notes of Caribbean spices, oak, vanilla, and black pepper. Finish: A great finish, leaving a light taste of vanilla and black pepper.
Impressive. Very smooth and not overly peaty for an Islay.
