Nov 2019. Clear deep amber. Aromatic sweet syrup, brown sugar, wood spice, cedar, warm sweet grass, cola, caramel, and cinnamon biscuit in the nose. Medium full body with brown sugar, longan honey, corn syrup, wood spice, and bitter caramel on the palate. Somewhat unbalanced on the palate due to the sweetness combined with bitter, grassy wood tannin. 12 years of maturation couldn't mellow this spirit.
