My curiosity got the better of me. I had been wanting to try this, and I paid far too much. Cherry and wheat on the nose. There's definitely some heat on the palate with caramel and slightly bitter oak. The cherry flavor also comes through on the finish for me. The finish is long and dry. Is this good? Yes. Is it worth what I paid? Absolutely not. While I enjoyed this, compared to other wheated bourbons, it doesn't measure up to Larceny Small Batch. I also slightly prefer the standard Maker's Mark to this one. Therefore, I would only repurchase this if it were priced lower than both Larceny and Maker's. No more allocated bottles for me. From now on, I'll stick to my usual rule of not spending more than $40 for a 750 mL bottle of whisk(e)y.

Aroma: Cherry, nutmeg, a touch of oak Taste: Oak transforms into baking spices Aftertaste: Brief to moderate Seems stronger than it is, good texture in the mouth, but the flavor isn't as sweet as the aroma or other products from that distillery.
