About this bottle
Buffalo Trace uses its Warehouse X for its Experimental Collection of whiskies, aging over 5,000 barrels with occasional limited releases. This 2016 bottling was created using barrels from the Independent Stave Co. These barrels, like others for Buffalo Trace, were exposed to infrared light waves before charring. Specifically, they underwent short & medium wave frequency at 70% power for 15 minutes, followed by a level #1 char before the whiskey was added. This is a limited edition release from 4 barrels, sold in 375ml bottles.
